What a challenge…to be engaged and committed to living in the moment so something of value can be imparted because we were there.

I was struck that mere interest tends to pass as true engagement and with some reflect to realize just how vicariously we tend to live our lives.

Right now I am thinking of the moment and how watching this video can be a doorway to something more waiting on the other side. See you there:)

I so much appreciate the opportunity to enjoy all these inspirational speakers. Thanks to your generosity in giving the world access to the happening through videos, I enjoyed it while it was on.

I was at that time planning a new business online for the swedish market. Watching the videos from Engage Today actually lifted my vision and goals from a small business to one including a number of employees. So be it!

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Being a part of this panel, and the entire experience at ENGAGE TODAY was truly an honor.
In listening again to what I and the other panelists shared, I am reminded of how important the act of fully ENGAGING is for all of us who want to make a difference in the world. Engaging does not have to happen when we are formally doing our “work”, but in each and every moment. As we engage fully with those we serve, our family and friends, each person with whom we come into contact, and most of all, with ourselves, we will experience the powerful surge of energy that always occurs when we are fully engaged. You can see that all of us were 100% engaged in this panel, in offering our answers, and I hope those of you who watch this will be 100% engaged in receiving the gifts of wisdom it offers! With love from Barbara

I was talking to my 16 year old son the other day while we were driving as he is about to get his learner’s licence and will driving himself very soon. We were talking about the difference between tunnel vision and expanded awareness and what it can mean for your driving and as the conversation progressed what this can mean to your life.

To me being engaged in the presence of every moment is all about having expanded awareness – being aware of what is happening not just directly in front of you, but all around you the sights, sounds and feelings coming at you from every direction so that you can fully savour each and every moment. It’s like sucking the juice right out of each moment before it passes and not missing anything. Living in expanded awareness after years of practice has become second nature to me and I can fully percieve the difference it makes in my life by observing others. I am fully aware of not only possible dangers, but possible opportunities and the beauty of life being lived all around me. I call it “living rich.”

Living Rich means I get to feel rich, lush and abundant in every breath I take as each and every moment I live is full of the rich texture in the weft and weave of life all around me. This to me is living engaged!

Another way of putting it is that, when we are fully “enagaged” we put on our divinity. As divine beings, we know no fear, only love, compasson. In other words, we are all God…but we tends to foget this, becoming lost in our humanity instead.

Barbara, you were an amazing light at this event, and helped create the energy that everyone felt so deeply. It was really incredible to bring such a diverse range of speakers together, but I think we really struck a chord — and you werre big a part of that, so THANK YOU for being one of the amazing teachers there! The feedback we got on your session was amazing (so much so we’re going to release a video from your session soon!) :-)

    My best,
    Greg

Hi Greg & Everyone at Engage 2009.

The video description of your panel as well as yourself, creates the purpose, need, desire to
be focused, communicative, to analyze to respond to the commitment, not to react a openness to the depth of your dominion as well as the intentions of the engagement of
whom you are responding to whether it be a situation or a person. Personify oneself to
collectively be cohesive in that you are a sponge a magnet of magical opportunity by gathering the tidbits of whole & purposeful data that will create value for that special moment of transference of inner light that feeds the thirst of the All Seeing Eye!!!

To capture the essences that guided gift of one’s higher self to reach the Zenith of one’s PLAIN! To pitch the substance of Truth through the EYE of YOUR NEEDLE! Laying the sanity of a fruitful journey versus the destination / trip!!! Amen…. Brother Greg! To reach that leaven height of Bliss in so that one has accomplished the Purest of thoughts to the exact measure of every ounce of your Goodness allows. To charge your Progress as a Exalted Warrior in battle to rein one’s Crown so as to Offer it to thy Brothers & Sisters, the equality of Sharing with them the Ultra Victory of Love, to pour forth with devotion in giving your ALL for that simplistic attribute of knowing you done a Deed most Worthy of any Idealistic Man of Nobility thus setting the stage to cease another Dy.!!! “Show me the Freedom” to Lead is to be Nobel, to Follow is Loyal!!! We must have Leaders & Followers, inorder that the
Right hand knows what the Left hand is doing!!! We shall layeth & sleepeth till another
dawn arises!!! Thanks for the space. Norval….

    @Barbara De Angelis

    Barbara–
I studied with you a few years ago–when I was living in Sedona. I’m in LA now and using the principles you taught me to step into leadership in the forgiveness field.
It’s so wonderful to hear you in this video.
    Thank you for everything.

Engagement is dancing with your universe and being open to letting it bring life to you moment by moment instead of trying to control and direct every moment with your mind. Your intuition is 100% accurate ALL THE TIME. Trust it, let life flow, be open to what the universe is offering and don’t let your logical mind come up with all the excuses it likes to come up with for why you can’t follow your dreams.

I feel the batteries being charged already & I can’t wait. Let’s go.
But hey what happens when I start to lose it as my life experiance
teaches me? Well, let’s see where this goes. I’m present & expecting
the unexpected. Let’s get engaged. Let’s go for it.

Thank you so much for sharing these powerful life lessons. This is worth replaying every day until it sinks in; until we do not take so much that we have for granted. We only get out of life, out of a relationship, what we put in, what level of engagement we undertake.

Thanks for such an amazing video! I am absolutely blown away! Engagement! …. To bring something together! …. and what is that something?? People … Ideas … Energy …
I read in the news today that scientists pushed back the hands on the symbolic Doomsday Clock by one minute citing hopeful developments in nuclear weapons and climate change.
It is events like Engage Today and people like Greg, his speaking guests and his listening guests that also helped push back this clock!
Thank You again! Greg & Everyone at Engage Today!

Thank you Sean for speaking straight to my heart and my “buts”. There are no mistakes. I was supposed to hear your speech at this moment. With Warmest Aloha, Kim Schaefer :-)

Greg, this is an amazing group of speakers. I have watched all 3 videos posted so far and can’t wait for more. The thing that has really hit home for me is that I have always felt on some level that my personal spiritual work has been in conflict with the role that I am playing now as the marketer and sales person for our family’s software company. The question was , “How was I going to Be who I really AM while actively persuing trade and commerce. As I listened to all of these special people that you have brought together to inspire the world, I can see how they are pracising the priciples that I hold dear in the business world and making an impact by using them. I am truly inspired by all of your speakers. Each one has a special message to impart.

One of my favorite comments was from Joe – about how when you truly listen to people, they will blossom. I’m currently taking a course called ‘Heart of Communication’ and I’m just now learning how powerful it is to truly listen to people and how different it feels when people truly listen to me. Thank you for sharing. This video really helped to realize how important it is to be engaged daily in my life.

What a challenge to understand that even after having your purse stolen, the moment is a gift! In theory it sounds possible but how many of us what stop to consider that? Remaining positive about the experience and understanding that your journey (of life) is taking a new direction must be the focus point of remaining in a positive frame of mind however staying in the moment would be too difficult as you would have to plan for what lays ahead.

  24. January 30th, 2010 at 05:45 | #24

Very good advice however I realise it will take a lot of repitition to train my immediate circle as they are used to putting demands on my time whenever they feel like it. I wish I’d known about this earlier as I can see immediately how much easier life would be without the constant interruptions.

  25. January 30th, 2010 at 20:50 | #25

That is great advise, I never would have guessed that reducing and eliminating distractions would be the best thing to do for your business. I also took note of the 3 big money making activities Product Creation, Building Relationships and Marketing. As always great advice Eban!
